Gas Maraetai offers convenient car, truck and trailer hire, situated right here in the heart of Maraetai.

If you are moving or simply needing to transport large bulky items such as furniture, we have a selection of trailers and a moving truck to make life easier.

If your car is off the road, we have a small rental car available to get you through.

We also offer a few different trailer options including caged, car or open trailers or if a larger truck is what you need, consider booking our moving truck!

All our rental vehicles and trailers are reliable and well looked after by our on-site mechanics team at Maraetai Automotive.

Give us a call or pop in to book. We recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment wherever possible.

Please ensure your driver’s licence is current as this is a requirement for trailer and car hire. A deposit is required prior to hiring a trailer or vehicle.

Trailer Hire
We have 2 caged trailers and 1 open trailer available.

A deposit of $50 is required to secure your booking. Then additional charges apply as follows, payable upon return of the trailer.

5 hours: $45
24 hours: $55
Car Trailer
Our car transporter is specifically for moving vehicles. A deposit of $200 is required prior to hiring the car transporter. The balance is payable upon return of the vehicle as follows:

5 hours: $150
24 hours: $180
Car Rental
We have a small 4 door Nissan Tiida or a larger, 7 seater Mazda Premacy available for rent. A deposit of $50 is required prior to hiring the vehicle and the following balance is payable upon return of the vehicle.

24 hours: $45
Moving Truck Rental
Our small moving truck is perfect for moving house, relocating furniture or larger items. A deposit of $200 is required prior to booking the truck. The balance is payable upon return as follows;
